JC This is a portrait of JC commissioned by his wife for his birthday. I was given a series of pictures to work from – from the time he was a young man until now. I was invited over for dinner to be able to better determine his energy. His wife told me that one of his main passions in life is reading, so I positioned his face against a book. It is larger than life, which I believe is also symbolic of who he is.
